When a Letter Falls Flat: My Response to Biden

I recently wrote a letter to President Biden about my thoughts on his presidency and where our country is headed. I was hoping for a response that actually connected with what everyday Americans are feeling. Instead, I got back a letter that read more like a standard campaign speech.

He talked a lot about democracy and unity, but totally missed the mark on the real issues we’re facing—like rising costs and the growing divide among us. Honestly, it was a bit disappointing to see my call for genuine leadership brushed aside with the usual platitudes.

And let’s be real... I know Biden didn’t actually write it; I’m no sucker. It was definitely his team behind that one.

It’s frustrating because we need leaders who really get what’s going on in people’s lives. 

I’ll keep pushing for change, but it’s clear we’ve still got a long way to go.
