Letter to Mike

Hey Mike, I’m really looking forward to your fight against Jake Paul on November 15th. Even with the delay, I’m confident you’re going to put on an incredible show. As an herbalist, I’ve been thinking about some unique herbs that could give you an edge Mike. Consider incorporating rhodiola for endurance and resilience, schisandra to support stress management and stamina, and horny goat weed to enhance overall vitality. Astragalus will also boost your immune system and recovery. I’ll definitely be tuning in on Netflix and cheering you on. Best of luck, and enjoy the fight! You got this Mike!  Blessed be,   Drakovi Bloodrose   --------------------------------------------------------

July 13: A History of Chaos

The recent unsettling incident, which nearly led to the ex-President Donald Trump's assassination, brings to mind two other tragic occurrences in American history on July 13. New York City was overwhelmed by chaos during the Draft Riots of 1863. Angry crowds seized control of the city's roads to demonstrate against the Civil War draft.. The violent disturbances caused extensive damage, multiple fatalities, and a significant influence on the city, mirroring the deep social divisions of that era.. Skip to 1977, when New York City encountered another significant problem on the identical day: a massive blackout. The power outage led to almost 24 hours of absence of light, causing the city to witness theft, fire, and a significant collapse of law and order, emphasizing underlying economic and social problems. Today's events, similar to those of 1863 and 1977, highlight how rapidly societal tensions can escalate into violence and disorder. This repeated motif acts as a clear indi...

A Broken Rally

I sat in my living room, the TV softly humming, as I tuned in to watch Trump's rally at the Butler Farm Show. The vibrant colors and enthusiastic energy of the crowd filled the screen. Flags were being waved, chants were echoing, and the anticipation was nearly tangible even through the screen. Trump appeared on stage, impossible to ignore. He had only just begun to speak when it occurred. Gunshots could be clearly heard in the air. I stood still, feeling my heart race as I witnessed the events happening before my eyes. Some individuals in the crowd fell to the floor, a few shouting while others hurried to find shelter. The camera focused on Trump, and I witnessed him dropping to the ground, reaching for his right ear. Blood flowed slowly down his cheek. Secret Service agents rushed towards him, moving quickly and expertly. The disorderly crowd sharply contrasted with the agents' grim determination. Despite the chaos, Trump stood firm. He had a blend of agony and determination ...
